FAQ´S
FAQ´S
- What are the differences between self adhesive and traditional wallpaper materials?
There are actually several differences apart from the obvious one that is application method. Please see this comparison of main differences between both of these wallpaper materials here.
- Can I order a sample?
At each listing you can find a dropdown menu to select size and material. There you can find a 19” x 19” (48x48cm) sample on both self adhesive and traditional wallpaper.
- Will colors differ between separate wallpaper/wall mural orders?
Yes, as every product is made to order, shades may vary between different material batches, including wallpaper samples and full orders. To avoid this, we recommend ordering full amount required for each wallpaper project at once. Though please keep in mind we always do our best to match the colors between orders as closely as possible.
- Where do you ship to?
We ship to USA, Canada, Australia, Europe - you name it! As our wallpapers are shipped with a tracking number, please keep in mind you will need to sign for the parcel upon delivery. Also, please keep in mind that countries such as Canada and Australia and UK are subject to import taxes upon delivery of the goods.
- How do I order custom colors?
If the design is customisable, there is going to be a color palette in the photos. Choose one and indicate the pattern and background colors at checkout.
- What surfaces with the peel and stick stick to?
Smooth and flat surfaces should do just fine. For example, smoothly painted walls, glass, mirrors, cabinet doors without texture, sliding wardrobe doors. We don't recommend to install wallpaper on textured walls, however you can always order a sample first to see how it works on your desired wall surface. For freshly painted walls we recommend 4 weeks before installing your wallpaper.
- Is the wallpaper suitable for bathrooms?
It is! However we advise to use it for decorative purposes and avoid areas where it would be in direct contact with water (shower, bath, backsplash area). Both materials are gently cleanable with a damp cloth or soft sponge.
- Can I reuse the self adhesive wallpaper?
We do not market our self-adhesive wallpaper as reusable. It's important to note that the successful removal of wallpaper depends on various factors beyond the wallpaper itself. Key factors include the wall's preparation, the quality of the primer applied before painting or wallpaper installation, the quality and composition of the paint and primer, and the environmental conditions in the room. Additionally, all adhesives, including the one on our self-adhesive wallpaper, can become somewhat permanent over time due to factors like climate and air moisture or dryness. Successful removal also depends on how long the wallpaper has been on your walls. In some cases, it may be possible to completely and successfully remove the wallpaper. To achieve this, it's crucial to preserve the backing paper and exercise caution when removing the self-adhesive wallpaper. Ensuring the wallpaper adheres perfectly to the backing paper is essential to prevent the adhesive from drying out during transportation to its new location.
- Is it easy to remove your wallpaper?
All the wallpaper materials we provide, whether self-adhesive or traditional, can be removed from the walls in complete panels. This offers a significant advantage over conventional wallpapers, which often tear into numerous small pieces during removal. However, it's important to note that successful wallpaper removal without damaging the paint hinges on various factors beyond the wallpaper itself. Crucial considerations for a successful removal include the wall's preparation before installation, the quality of the primer used on the wall before painting or wallpaper application, and the quality and composition of the paint and primer. Additionally, climate conditions within the room play a pivotal role in achieving a seamless removal. It's worth mentioning that all adhesives, including the one used on our self-adhesive wallpaper, can eventually become somewhat permanent due to factors like climate, air moisture, and room dryness. Therefore, the successful removal of wallpaper is also influenced by the duration the wallpaper has been adhered to your walls."

PEEL & STICK INSTALLATION
After receiving the wallpaper, take it out from the original packaging, remove the sticker, and release the roll a bit. It shouldn´t be very tightly rolled up. It has to be in this state for at least 48 hours. During this time, the wallpaper will adapt to the new environmental and climatic conditions. Check that the panels match. perfectly. This step is very important. Once installed, we won't be able to see if there are any errors on our part. After that, your wallpaper will be ready fo installation.
Step 1
Installation is best done together with someone- it´s easier and more fun that way.
You will need:
- A spirit level and pencil and ruler.
- A squegee and cutter knife.
- A brush, sandpaper or a metal spatule to remove dirt from the wall.
- A step stool or step ladder.
Step 2
Prepare for the installation:
Panels are numbered and should be installed in the order they come.
Start with the first strip of wallpaper. Use a level to ensure the panels are straight.
Adhere the top part of the strip and gradually fix it from top to bottom and from the center to the sides, using a squeegee from side to side to ensure adhesion.
Leave a couple of inches / centimeters at the top, as walls and ceilings may not be perfectly straight.
Step 3
Continue in the same way with the remaining panels until the wall is complete, carefully matching the patterns of the paper, if
applicable.
Use a squegee between the seams to ensure the paper adheres well and doesn't peel over time.
The panels should align flush with each other.
Switches and outlets
When you run your hand over, you will feel the gap.
Using the utility knife, make a cross-shaped cut over the hole, reaching all four corners.
