Non woven wallpaper installation steps
After receiving the wallpaper, take it out from the original packaging, remove the sticker, and release the roll a bit. It shouldn´t be very tightly rolled up. It has to be in this state for at least 48 hours. During this time, the wallpaper will adapt to the new environmental and climatic conditions. Check that the panels match. perfectly. This step is very important. Once installed, we won't be able to see if there are any errors on our part. After that, your wallpaper will be ready fo installation.
Step 1- Get ready
Installation is best done together with someone- it´s easier and more fun that way.
You will need:
You will need:
- Non woven wallpaper glue.
- Paintbrush or roller for glue application.
- Slightly moist sponge for removal of glue from wallpaper edges.
- A squegee and cutter knife;
- A brush, sandpaper or a metal spatule to remove dirt from the wall.
- A spirit level, ruler and a pencil.
- A step stool or step ladder.
Step 2- Preparation
Do not apply the wallpaper if your wall looks like this:
- If your wallpaper resembles any of the above, please make sure to fill any holes and sand any bumps, so the wall is completely smooth. We do not recommend applying on glossy walls (only semi-matte) as well as on already applied wallpapers.
- Clean your wall with a wet cloth and dry it well. Don't use strong chemical cleaning products, otherwise the wallpaper may not stick well to the wall.
- Wipe down your wall with a damp cloth 24 hours prior to installing.
- Remove electrical outlets and skirting boards.
- Freshly painted and primed walls must dry for 2-7 days (depends on the type of paint) before installing the wallpaper.
- Make sure you have the correct amount of wallpaper sheets. Their designs and colors have to match. If you have mural type wallpaper, serial numbers on sheets have to form a sequence.
- If the surface is made of non-standard material (wood, tiles), contact us before applying!
Step 3- Installation
Apply the wallpaper:

- Before applying, use the spirit level to draw a straight vertical line on the wall where you want to start applying the wallpaper
- Using a paintbrush or roller, stain the wall with glue.
- Remember to stick the first sheet exactly to the drawn line. Every next sheet will depend on the accuracy of the first one. Leave a couple of inches / centimeters at the top, as walls and ceilings may not be perfectly straight.
- Attach the wallpaper to the wall. Straighten out the air bubbles from the center of the wallpaper to the edges.
- When sticking further sheets, the edges of the wallpaper shouldn’t overlap, they have to be very close to each other.

- Each time after attaching a new sheet, use a sponge
to clean up any glue that spills on the edges of the
wallpaper. - Repeat these steps, until you are done!

When you run your hand over, you will feel the gap.
Using the utility knife, make a cross-shaped cut over the hole, reaching all four corners.
