How to Measure your wall for wallpaper
Our wallpaper comes in panels which are designed to be installed side by side without an overlap. To calculate how many wallpaper panels you would need and which wallpaper panel size would work best for your project, please see examples below on how to measure your wall for wallpaper.
Rectangular wall
Measure width of the wall at the widest and tallest part of the wall. Divide the total width by either 29"/ 73cm.
Measure the height of the wall at its heighest point. Add 4 extra inches (10cm). Don´t include baseboards or crown molding. Choose the closest sheet length from the list.
Round up the result to the closest full number to calculate the panel quantity needed for the project.
EXAMPLE:
- Wall width is 113 inches and wall height is 106 inches (287x270cm).
- Calculations: 113 : 29 = 3,89
- Panel quantity needed: 4 panels
- Panel size option #4: 29 x 98 inches (only if the walls are perfectly even or measurements include baseboard/crown molding)
- Panel size option #5: 129 x 120 inches (to allow for extra material on top and bottom of the wall when installing wallpaper - crucial for uneven walls).
Sloped wall

Wall with an obstacle
